Our practice provides comprehensive eye care to patients over the age of 6. Depending on their age, level of vision and symptoms, patients should be seen by their doctor for a comprehensive eye exam every one to three years. Children should have regular exams to ensure the proper development of their vision and prevent any interference with their academic achievement. Contact lens wearers should be examined once a year. Older adults are often at higher risk for cataracts, glaucoma or macular degeneration and should be examined once a year.
Our practice provides compassionate personal care. Our doctors are reachable by cell phone 24 hours a day and return all calls promptly. If you have an urgent problem, you will be seen the same day you call, if the office is open. If the office is not open when you call, you may be referred to the Emergency Room at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai (14th Street and Second Avenue), where the doctors are on staff.
